Stanley P. Kenosky was born May 4, 1927, and died July 6, 1992. Military records list his branch as the Navy, though his obituary states that he was an Army veteran of World War II.
The heroes’ monument is important. It is believed that Stanley was on the beaches of Normandy. If no other information can be found for him and others, their sacrifices will be forgotten. If we forget the horrors of war, war becomes even more likely.
