Doris R. Elias — later Doris R. McCabe — was born February 6, 1921. She served as a Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps, entering active service on July 24, 1944. She began foreign service on July 19, 1945, and was separated from the service in February 1946.
On December 7, 1945, she married Sergeant James McCabe, and together they had three children. She died August 28, 2007.
