Numerous Scholarship Contests

Example Book Titled: "American Ideals and Other Essays, Social and Political" is among the books on our library contest list.

Not all of our library books will be on the contest list.  For now we will be excluding history books authored by Theodore Roosevelt.  These are great books that have valuable content that you may enjoy.  Our contest, at least for now, will not include the books Theodore Roosevelt wrote about priorer events that he was not involved in and the books he wrote about other historical figures.  There are two types of contests under each book title that is on the contest list.  1. Favorite paragraph.  2. Book review

1. Favorite paragraph: Copy and paste the paragraph of your choice in the contest entry forms. You may let the paragraph speak for itself or you may give it a title  &  a very short comment as to why you like it. Very easy… you do not need to be a writer… you only need to know what you like and if you choose to say a few words about why you like it give it a try (but that is optional).

2. Book review 200 words or less about something you found of interest in the book.  Not very hard to do if you like something in a book. Give it a try.
