Book Description

TR was a great admirer of Parkman, who was extremely popular in his day and a historian of significant reputation. TR and Lodge believe Parkman to be an American Hero as evidenced by his personal story being offered in their book "Hero Tales". One other interesting side note is that TR used the same composition process as Parkman in writing many of his history books.
