Book Description

Parkman graduated from Harvard before TR was born. TR considered Parkman an American Hero. TR tried to emulate his Heroes. It is no small coincidence that TR wrote the history of the Winning of the West after sifting through a mountain of document similar to the process that Parkman used to write his American History volumes. The books that we read can have a great influence upon the life that we live. What may be the potential, of a new generation reading about Theodore Roosevelt’s life and trying to emulate what they like about TR and his Heroes.
